Raymond Joseph MUNROE

MUNROE, Raymond Joseph - 90, Little Dover Guysborough Co. passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012, in Canso. Born in Little Dover, he was a son of the late George and Mary Martella (Murphy) Munroe. Raymond was a retired fisherman He was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover. He was also a member of the Shamrock Club, Canso. Surviving are his children, Eldon (Loretta), Little Dover; Margie (Ronnie) Home, Canso, Merle (Anne Mane), Fox Island, Mike, Alberta: Dave, Oxford; Paul, Little Dover; Cliff (Roberta). Antigonish; Dale (Shelly), North Sydney; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Raymond was predeceased by his wife or 65 years, Mary Kathleen; daughter, Paulette Richardson; a son in infancy; brothers, Andrew, and Allen; sister, Catherine. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m Friday, May 25 from St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Little Dover with Father Bill Crispo officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
