ASPEN - M. Vincent McKeen, 87, of Aspen,
died Wednesday in the Masonic Home, Windsor.
Born in Aspen,
he was a son of the late Edward and Margaret (McGrath) McKeen.
He lived in Aspen all of his life and was retired from the department of fisheries.
He was a former magistrate for Guysborough County
and was an adherent of Aspen Baptist Church.
He was a member of Sherbrooke Masonic Lodge AF and AM
and had received a 50-year jewel.
Surviving are three sisters,
Myrl (Mrs. Lester MacKean), Sherbrooke;
Viola (Mrs. Fred MacIntosh), New Glasgow;
Nellie, at home;
two brothers, Edgar and Stuart, both of Aspen;
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister Stella; a brother Stanley; an infant brother.
The body is in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Kirk Memorial United Church,
Rev. Keith Lewis and Ralph Webber officiating,
with burial in Baptist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baptist Cemetery Fund
or the Masonic Home, Windsor.
