Harvey D Mathews -
The sudden death of Harvey D Mathews,
an employee of the Victoria General Hospital,
occurred at his home, 28 Morris Street,
on Dec 23 at the age of 74 years.
Surviving are his widow, three daughters,
Helen (Mrs R Woodclose), Richmond Hill, Ontario;
Wilhemina (Mrs A Duncan), Toronto; Mildred (Mrs Carl Fitzgerald), Queensport;
four sons, Meredith and Harvey, both of Saint John;
William, Halifax; and David, Greenland;
four sisters, Lila (Mrs E S Williams), Queensport;
Gladys (Mrs L Thornlakson), Italy Cross, Lunenburg County;
Florence (Mrs C F Silver), Rockingham; and Blanche (Mrs J F Gandy), Halifax.
The remains were forwarded to his former home at Queensport
where interment was made at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in Queensport cemetery.
