Wilfred Rhynold, 61, of Canso
was buried in All Saints Anglican Church cemetery
following funeral service in the church.
Rev George Beach (sic) officiated.
He was a veteran of the Second World War and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
He had served on Canso school board and town council
and had been a member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows.
Surviving besides his wife, the former Edna Munroe,
are one son, James, Canso; two daughters, Gwen (Mrs Cyril Dicks) Port Hawkesbury;
Elaine (Mrs James Power) Port Felix; nine grandchildren,
three brothers, Carl, East River St Mary's
, Arthur and Clarence, both of White Head; two sisters,
Thelma (Mrs Roy Ehler), White Head; Helen (Mrs Floyd George), Halfway Cove.
