Malcolm Sponagle

Stillwater - Malcolm Scott Sponagle, 61,
of Stillwater, Guysborough County,
died Saturday in St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in New Harbour, Guysborough County,
he was a son of the late James and Emma (Hallett) Sponagle.
He was employed with the Public Service of Canada,
Department of Fisheries and Oceans, for 25 years.
Surviving besides his wife, the former Cynthia Horton,
are two daughters, Lynn and Lori, both of Halifax,
two brothers, Calvin, Port Bickerton; Morley, Vancouver;
two sisters, Freda, Hamilton, Ontario; Marion
(Mrs. H. MacArthur), Goldboro.
The body is in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater,
from where funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday,
Rev. Keith Lewis officiating,
with burial in Waternish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to the St. Mary’s River Association.
