Charles Ellsworth Hanlon - 76,
Canso, died May 31,1992 in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso.
Born in Canso he was the son of the late
Alfred and Josephine (Morris) Hanlon.
He was a retired employee of Nova Scotia Liquor Commission.
He was a veteran of the second world war and a member of
the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 46, Canso.
He was a member of the Star of the Sea Parish.
He is survived by his wife the former Ralphael Berrigan;
two daughters, Mary (Mrs. Barry Richards), Canso;
Patricia (Mrs.Dorian Harnish), Hazel Hill, Guys. Co.;
five sisters, Mrs. Sara Manuel, Mrs. Mary Sampson, Nora (Mrs.Joseph Richard),
all of Canso; Theresa (Mrs.Carl Ansty), New Brunswick;
Ella (Mrs.Gerald Lessard), Ontario; three brothers, Tom,
Richard, both of Canso; Leo, Ontario; five grandchildren;
a great-grandchild. He was predeceased by
a brother,James. Funeral will be held
in the Star of the Sea Church, Rev. Robert Day officiating.
