CROOKS, WILLARD ARTHUR - 81,
Goldboro, Guys. Co., formerly of Hemford, Lunenburg Co.,
passed away Feb. 3, 2000, in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Seal Harbour, Guys. Co., he was a son of the late
Arthur L. and Elisabeth (Lowe) Crooks.
He was a veteran of the Second World War.
He is survived by his companion, Avis Walsh, Goldboro; sons, Willard,
Hamilton,Ont., Brian, Lower Sackville; Terry, Stony Plain, Alta., daughters,
Maureen Beeswanger, Hemford; Sandra Gallant, Courtice, Ont., stepdaughters,
Tina Burton, Regina; Patty Crooks, Alta., stepsons, Clifton, Crooks,
Edmonton; Alex Crooks, Alta., grandchildren, Jennifer, Katherine, Bonnie,
Daniel, and Aaron; brother, Chester, Summerland, B.C.
Visitation will be held 2-4pm Sun. in Aweeny's Funeral Chapel,
Bridgewater, from where a funeral service will be held 2pm Mon.,
Pastor Jack LeBlanc officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hemford Cemetery.
Flowers accepted. Memorial donations may be made
to the Canadian Cancer Society.
